University of Michigan launches newly updated MOOC with free CME, CHES, and MOC Part II credits available

The University of Michigan Injury Prevention Center announces the launch of their newly updated, evidence-based Massive Open Online Course (MOOC), Injury Prevention for Children and Teens. The course lays a broad foundation for pediatric injury prevention and will increase understanding of this major public health issue through powerful, concise, up-to-date lectures, interviews, and demonstrations from a multidisciplinary panel of nationally-recognized injury prevention experts. This comprehensive update includes new evidence-based resources across all 7 modules presented in a flexible learning format, as well as course content for three new areas of injury prevention science - health inequities, ACES, and water safety & drowning prevention. Free credit for CME, CHES, and ABP MOC Part II for Board Certified Pediatricians now available.
