Due to the continuing and ever-increasing travel restrictions, as well as new restrictions on holding large gatherings at the University of Pennsylvania, we are canceling the 2020 in-person SAVIR conference scheduled for April 27-29. We regret that this is what we have to do, but we need to consider the health of our members and conference speakers and attendees.
Please hold the dates of the conference, if possible, as the conference committee, which has been devoting considerable time and effort to planning the in-person conference and activities, is looking at alternate ways of delivering the conference content.
We will be providing information about the alternate plans by April 10th, including registration options and timing. As of this afternoon, we are closing the conference registration site. Refunds of registration for the in-person meeting will be processed after April 10, 2020. We will also post updated information on the SAVIR website.
Please remember that you are responsible for canceling any hotel reservations that you have made for the conference, as well as your travel arrangements.
