SAVIR’s Student and Early-Career Professionals (SECP) Committee supported a virtual social opportunity for students to network beyond their respective institutions and introduce students with injury and violence research interests to SAVIR as a desirable professional organization to establish membership with. The SECP Committee has also partnered with the Science Committee to support workshop sessions that provide research guidance to students developing research proposals and/or developing research presentation skillsets. The first of these was held in November of 2021, and a second opportunity for students to receive feedback will be held in March of 2022 preceding the Annual Conference.
